Crisis Triage Center

The Crisis Triage Center commissioned by Doña Ana County will be used to assess and triage individuals with behavioral health issues.  The center will allow those individuals who are picked up by law enforcement to be dropped off at a facility where they can be assessed and treated, rather than sending them to either the hospitals or the detention facility.  The center will allow those in need of mental health services a place to go.  The facility has 7 client rooms, a dayroom, guest reception and lobby areas, training and group therapy room, consultation rooms and processing rooms.  The design for this new concept was created through work sessions with a collaborative of mental health providers, focus group participants, law enforcement and the Department of Health and Human Services.
